He is a lost youth looking for something, so he takes a cross-country journey to see friends from college. Salted With Salt is the story of his journey. It is a universal voyage into the tragedy and comedy of human nature- a sentimental journey that celebrates life in all its nuances for everyone to enjoy. It is an examination of Sols imperfections—sometimes ugly, but at the same time beautiful, adding spice to life and sculpting his humanity.A writer, Solomon delves into the motivations of the creative process. He stands in awe of the power of creation, recognizing his own fallibility and innate impetus to self-destruction. The transitions to the six stories he writes are the Seven Deadly Sins. As he attempts to exorcise his faults in his art, his stories slowly shed light on his character, which he cannot escape. At journeys end Solomon reflects on his travels, his stories and whether or not he found what he was seeking.Author Bio: Jason Akley is a graduate of Tulane University with a BS in physics and mathematical economics.
